Keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts for writing, search and navigation. In a document, press Ctrl+/ (Cmd+/ on a Mac) to open the editor’s shortcut sheet. On a Mac, Alt is the Option key. For the arrow keys, F2, Delete and the context-menu key in the sidebar tree, see Use the tree from the keyboard.

Search (when you are not typing in a field)//

Inside a document, Ctrl+K (Cmd+K) makes a link instead, so click outside the text first to search. Because Ctrl+P opens quick open, it doesn’t print: to print, use Print or save as PDF in the document’s More menu.

Each shortcut adds the markdown shown, or removes it if it is already there.
